The video will briefly explain Bar Bending Schedule of beam in simple way.

Step 1 – Find cutting length of bottom bar

Development length = 50d

1st layer: 25Ø = length of beam + development length – bend

5000 + (50x25x2) – (2x25x1x2) = 7400mm or 7.4m

For 2 Nos. = 7.4x2 = 14.8m

2nd layer: 20⌀ = 5000 + (50x20x2) – (2x20x1x2) = 6920mm or 6.92m

For 2 Nos = 6.92 x 2 = 13.84 m

Step 2 – Find cutting length of top bar

20Ø; = Same as 2nd layer of bottom bar 13.84m

Step 3 – Find out Number of Stirrups

For zone 1: 1/3 = 5000/3 = 1666.67mm

Number of Stirrups = length/spacing + 1 = 1666.67/100 + 1 = 17.7 = 18 Nos

Total number of Stirrups for zone 1 = 18x2 = 36 Nos

For zone 2: Number of stirrups = length/spacing – 1 = 1.666.67/150-1 = 10 Nos

Total = 36+10 = 46 Nos
