Vacancy: A new job profile of Project Manager in Construction

A project manager in the field of Construction is immediately needed in a company Webuild. The website of the company is webuildsstaffing.com. The job role is to supervise the progress of projects related to multi-family and commercial construction development. This project is running throughout San Francisco and San Jose area.

The applicant should have more than 10 years of experience in the field of construction project management. The person should have minimum 5 years of experience in the field of multi-family and commercial construction related projects. The following skills are also required for the specified job profile:

  • Creating budgets
  • Developing scope of works
  • Creating schedules for construction progress
  • RFI’s
  • Relationship management with suppliers and other vendors
  • Processing change orders
  • Supervising the construction progress and deliverables

The project manager will be located at onsite project and will be responsible for project related activities such as:

  • Managing one or several ongoing projects in the area of San Francisco and San Jose
  • Following construction schedules and monitoring any deviation
  • RFI’s
  • Submitting procurement reports
  • Material procurements
  • Personnel hiring or firing, in case of requirements
  • Control the quality
  • Checking onsite projects and inspection

The minimum education qualification required for this role is Bachelor’s degree in either of the following fields:

  • Engineering
  • Construction management
  • Business administration and/or related experience in the relevant field

The candidate should have strong management abilities along with verbal and non-verbal communication. He/she should possess skills in dealing with MS Office suite and project management related software.
